You may run into this error when doing a move-mailbox;Error occurred in the step: Preparing mailbox to be moved. Creating stub mailbox 'MigStubx6sz-23c0-1aa4-EX01' with mailbox guid 'Access denied.' failed when calling SetInfo with error: (null)
All the users that gave us this error had SPECIAL security permissions set on their accounts. Not all of the security groups were given acces to their AD accounts. To fix this issue, go into AD and under the Security/Advance section make sure the user is set to inherit security. If not, set the checkbox and then copy the permissions to the object.
This fixed it in all of the cases we ran into.
